Our Story

Autumn has been a Wethersfield neighbor since 2014. A lifelong advocate for equality and justice, she believes in the power of kindness, empathy, and the stories that bring people closer together. Passionate about creating connections, she works in nonprofit communications while raising three energetic kiddos. 

Gillie Johnson is the museum educator at Wethersfield Historical Society. In this position, he enjoys working with students from many different walks of life.

Heather has proudly called Wethersfield home since 2020, raising her family as part of the town’s vibrant and diverse community. As a parent of the next generation, she is deeply committed to building a more just and inclusive future. With a passion for social change, Heather dedicates her energy to uplifting voices, breaking down barriers, and fostering equity throughout town and beyond.

Iran has called Wethersfield home for over 10 years. He is deeply passionate about uplifting individuals and communities.

A Peace advocate and community engagement professional, Iran is committed to serving as a partner to ensure equity, justice, equality and inclusion.

Katrina and her wife have lived in Wethersfield since 2023 with their two children. In her professional life, she is an attorney who has always worked to support the marginalized in our communities. In her personal life, she aims to help make Wethersfield a place where her children, and all our children, can grow up in a safe, happy, healthy, and inclusive environment. 

Kim is proud to call Wethersfield home, where she and her husband, Steve, have raised their two boys over the past 22 years. As the Family & Early Childhood Coordinator for the Town and Public Schools, she loves bringing people together and helping families feel connected and supported. A Spanish speaker, Kim believes our community is strongest when everyone has a voice and feels like they belong.  

Lynda has lived in Wethersfield most of her life. Her passions are advocating for families who have children with special education needs and working to erase the stigma of mental illness. She and her husband have three adult children, two granddaughters and a golden retriever. 

Marc has lived in Wethersfield since 2022 after living in Mexico for the prior ten years.  In Mexico, he served on several non-profit boards including co-founding a non-profit to assist and accompany deported Mexican nationals returned from the United States.  He currently serves on the boards of the Wethersfield Historical Society and Hands on Hartford/Gather 55. He is passionate about our town truly representing the Cultural District designation that we have been awarded.

Sara was born and raised in Wethersfield and just graduated with her master’s in human rights from UConn. Advocacy and organizing have been lifelong passions and she continues to explore ways of connecting humans in the community she calls home, as well as our global community and working with our planet. 

Yuletzi made Wethersfield a permanent home in 2011, captivated by it’s New England charm and an atmosphere ideal for raising a family. Alongside her husband, two young boys, and their dog, she is dedicated to serving our community and nurturing belonging for all residents. She cares deeply about supporting education, promoting fairness, and honoring the ways our town is diverse, whether in ideas, backgrounds, or everyday life.
